Wellbeing Workshops & Resources

It’s important that we manage our wellbeing as we would our health-impairments. Here are resources and tools that can enable you to nurture and improve your wellbeing. Not every tool will work for you but what is important is discovering what does.

Resilience

Resilience is the process of adapting well or bouncing back from difficult experiences and set-backs; such as stress within the family and personal relationships, serious health problems or workplace and financial stress. Without resilience even small things can have a negative impact on our mental health and well-being and increase our stress levels. Here are some worksheets around developing resilience to improve our mental wellbeing.

Gratitude

In this workshop, we are focusing on gratitude. As with many mental well-being activities and coping strategies it is integral to repeat them until they become habits, which is when we receive the benefits of these wellbeing exercises in their entirety. Here are some worksheets around developing gratitude practice and improving our wellbeing.

Goal-Setting

Below we have a series of workshops and worksheets that will enable you create specific, measurable and achievable goals that will enable you to grow your self-esteem and confidence while also giving you a sense of purpose. Use the Looking Forward, Looking Back resources to identify your goals and find a starting point.

Once you have identified these goals, start to look at the Building Inner Courage and Moving Forward workshop to action the goals you have set in an achievable and reassuring manner.

Self-Esteem & Confidence

Self-esteem is how we view ourselves and how we believe others view us. When we have low self-esteem, we see ourselves in an overly critical and negative way which in turn effects the actions we take. These negative beliefs are dangerous as they prevent us from taking action in life and even gathering evidence that shatters these pre-conceptions. When we have healthy self-esteem, we tend to feel positive about ourselves and about life in general, enabling us to be more resilient and willing to take risks and being rewarded for doing so. Here are some worksheets that can enable you to develop your self-esteem and confidence.

Managing Anxiety

We all will feel anxious at times in our lives. Anxiety is what we feel when we are worried, tense or afraid – particularly about things that are about to happen, or which we think could happen in the future. These workshop and worksheets will give you some tools and resources to start to manage your anxiety. Through perseverance and practice it will become easier to manage your symptoms and negative thoughts, and eventually take back control of areas of your life that have been impacted.
