The new road layout and temporary crossing closures can feel confusing, and if you are a disabled person this may be particularly difficult.
Brighton and Hove City Council (BHCC) have told Possability People that some of the disabled parking bays that have been out of action are now back in use, and hope that the remaining bays will be open again very soon.
There have been some issues about unclear routes to and from the beach with the roadworks in place. The council have provided a helpful visual guide that highlights the best crossing points and which crossings are closed.
