What was Monty’s?
Monty’s was our brand-new warm welcome hub, open to anyone who is disabled or living with a long-term health condition. It was a cosy, friendly place where you could drop in, feel comfortable, and enjoy some company — or simply take some time for yourself.
At Monty’s, you could:
• Meet and chat with others in a relaxed, informal setting
• Enjoy board games, puzzles, and other activities
• Sip tea, coffee, or hot chocolate and help yourself to biscuits
• Take a break from the cold or just have a welcoming space to be
No pressure to join in or socialise — you could stay for as long or as little as you liked.

Mick has been volunteering with Possability People in various roles for over 5 years. Always ready with a smile and a story, he makes everyone feel genuinely welcome and at ease.
