Lucy Vallis reacts to proposed disability benefit reforms

At Possability People, we believe welfare reform must start with the voices of disabled people. As a user-led organisation, we’re deeply concerned about proposed changes to PIP, Universal Credit, and Access to Work, which risk undermining the support that enables people to live, work, and participate equally.

Our response to the DWP’s Green Paper, Pathways to Work, sets out the real-world impact of these reforms based on our frontline evidence and co-produced insight, we are calling for fairer alternatives shaped by lived experience and disability rights.
