How the service works

We run courses, drop in sessions and one to one support, planned around your needs. We want to support you in a way which suits you and goes at your pace.

While each project is a little bit different, they all offer a mix of courses and drop in workshops to support you to:

  • improve your self-confidence and self-esteem
  • manage anxiety and help you to see past “I can’t…”
  • find appropriate, specialist support, such as health, housing, or for addiction
  • develop your employability skills with CV’s, covering letters, job application forms and interview skills
  • learn or build IT skills, from digital basics to digital employability
  • develop coping strategies and a self-management toolkit to enable you to manage your health condition in and outside of work
  • understand what reasonable adjustments are, so they can be put in place by your employer to support you in your job
  • create a Wellness Action Plan so you can better manage your health in work so your job is sustainable.

We will:

  • talk to employers and work with them so they understand what a reasonable adjustment for you might be. We will help them to provide this
  • continue to support you and your employer when you have started work, if you want us to.
