We are looking for a part-time facilitator for our Get Set Opening Doors project supporting disabled people and people with long term health impairments move towards and into work.

Do you want to use your existing skills and qualities to enable people to change their lives, to reignite lost hope and to achieve their potential? Previous experience is not essential, we are looking for someone who wants the opportunity to bring skills that may come from a different background, someone who has passion, drive, confidence and a willingness to learn. Someone who has the determination to make a difference.

You will work with the support of the Community Employment Service Manager and project lead to deliver a unique combination of peer support and personalised provision supporting disabled people and people with long term health impairments to move into meaningful employment. This is delivered by facilitating group sessions (workshops and short courses) and some one-to-one work.

You will also work to build relationships with local employers to improve employment opportunities for disabled people as well as external organisations for referral routes.
