We have launched an online petition to ask the CCG not to cut their funding for our Advice Centre

The local Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) has given us 3 week’s notice of its intention to cut our funding. They fund about 85% of The Advice Centre. Without it, it’s going to be almost impossible to continue.

We think good advice is vital to good health. The Advice Centre helps over four and a half thousand disabled people a year, with information on anything relating to disability – from equipment to blue badges to bus passes, help with care, referrals to food banks, welfare benefits and allowances.

We are asking the CCG to reverse their decision to cut our funding and show their commitment to supporting disabled people in Brighton and Hove.

Our petition has already received over 1600 signatures (and that’s only since Thursday evening).  Help us to make 2000 by signing and sharing (if you haven’t already).
